Cancun

Cancun, Mexico is a young city with a vibrant feel. The city is quickly becoming the hottest spot in the Mexican Caribbean as well as the hottest vacation spot of the century. The city is nestled in white sand beaches and surrounded by turquoise waters. It is full of first class hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and more.

Cancun features everything from authentic Mexican to authentic American. You will find a variety of styles and tastes in Cancun. You will find a variety of styles of music to a variety of different cuisine. The beaches are the most popular spots in Cancun. Whether you are looking for an all-night party beach to a quiet and relaxing spot, the beaches of Cancun will provide it for you.

Most of the resorts and hotels are located in the main part of the island. This area is known as "The Hotel Zone." "The Party Zone" features all of the nightclubs and bars of the island. Both locations have an abundance of restaurants and shopping. Downtown Cancun is known as Cancun Centro. There are also hotels in this area as well as shopping and restaurants. This area is also where most of the permanent residents of Cancun live so everything is a little cheaper in this part of the island.

The beaches and the ocean offer the best attractions in Cancun. The beaches are white and beautiful and the water is perfectly clear. It is a place where you can relax in the sun and take a cool dip when you get hot. The beaches also offer snorkeling, diving, parasailing and jet skiing. Other great spots include the "El Rey" Archeological site, the Interactive Aquarium, Folkloric ballet and Bullfights.

The "El Rey" Archaeological site is situated close to the city. The site explores the history of the Mayans who lived in this area hundreds of years ago. The ruins show Mexico's true history prior to the Spanish.

The Interactive Aquarium is a great family trip. Each section offers different exhibits that you can touch and interact with. In the open-air section, you can touch sea urchins, stingrays, sea turtles and conches. The covered tank, allows you to be surrounded with sea life including sharks. You can even feed the sharks in a cage with a diver. The dolphin exhibit allows you to swim with the dolphins. The aquarium is sure to be the whole family's favorite stop.

The Folkloric ballet is a show that features regional dances and costumes. The shows are held at the Cancun Convention Center and feature authentic Mexican dancing and music.

Plaza de Toros is located in downtown Cancun. The site is a small bullfighting ring in the middle of the city. Bullfighting was introduced to Mexico by the Spanish and it has quickly become a historic part of the Mexican culture.

Most people think of the crazy nightlife and tequila when they think of Cancun. Cancun features some of the hottest and most popular bars in the world. There are dance clubs, bars, nightclubs, shows, restaurants, live music and DJs. The most popular bars in "The Hotel Zone." These bars feature light and laser shows and all you can drink cover charges. The music varies from salsa to reggae and rock. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and Senor Frogs are just a couple of the favorite spots in Cancun.

There is something for everyone in Cancun and the trip can be as much of a family vacation as a party vacation. There are a variety of activities and places to eat and shop. It is a place where you can experience Mexico, relax and have fun all in one trip
